Our mental well-being matters!
National Minority Mental Health Month is observed every year in July. This brings awareness and support to the minority population with distinctive struggles that racial and ethnic minority communities face regarding mental illness in the United States.
Mental health includes our physiological and social well-being. It affects how we think, feel, act, and manage our relationships and stress, as well as how we make choices. Our mental well-being is just as important as our physical well-being in all stages of life. There are twenty-one percent of adults experiencing at least one type of mental illness per Next Step Solutions Behavioral Health. You are not alone!
