Spend 15 minutes every day with us for a healthy start.

CCHP wants you and your family to be healthy and well. We have added engaging short exercise videos for everyone to follow and do at your convenience.  They are free, easy to do, and you will feel great!

They are great for members and non-members alike. We encourage you to share this link with friends and family.

All instructors in our fitness videos also teach classes for CCHP. We provide a wide range of health and fitness classes at various locations. All are open to the public. Free for our members. For class information, please visit our Classes and Events page.

The Benefits of Physical Activity

Exercising is a vital part of healthier living. Regular physical activity offers many health benefits:

  • Lowers the risk of chronic diseases such as heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, and some types of cancers
  • Develops and maintains healthy bones, muscles, and joints
  • Improves balance and flexibility
  • Helps control appetite and weight
  • Improves mood and sleep
  • Improves circulation and functions of the heart and lungs
  • Increases energy level
  • Reduces stress
Be Aware of Your Health Condition

Before you start, please keep in mind to:

  • Consult with your doctor to see if the workout fits your health conditions
  • Find an activity that you enjoy and start out slowly.
  • Begin with 5 minutes of warm-up exercises such as walking, knee lifts, arm circles, or body rotation. End with 5 minutes of cool-down exercises such as stretching, or slow walking to minimize muscle injuries.
  • Drink plenty of water before, during, and after exercise to keep hydrated, especially if you sweat a lot.
  • Dress in loose, comfortable clothing and wear proper shoes with adequate support.
  • Most importantly, enjoy at your own pace! Don’t worry if you find the steps hard to follow. The goal is all about having fun and getting yourself moving!
