Senior EDI Analyst

CCHP is looking for a Senior EDI Analyst to join the IT Department. The EDI Specialist will perform the role of developing applications and programs for all EDI related processes inbound and outbound. Strong technical skills on EDI systems is a must with basic knowledge of SQL code and Data warehouse familiarity. Must be able to lead others, work independently, and communicate effectively with the business. College degree and previous healthcare experience required. Additionally, the Senior EDI Specialist will utilize an EDI tool, creating connections and maintaining smooth communications for data exchanges.

• Design, develop and maintain applications programs for all EDI related processes.
• Manage Daily operations to ensure and accurate exchange of Electronic Data exchange (EDI) Transactions.
• Act as a liaison between trading partners, internal departments and software vendors in managing daily EDI activities.
• Have in-depth and advanced knowledge of EDI mappings and X12s.
• Provide analytical support for the implementation and maintenance of EDI transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
• Anticipate and proactively identify solution to operational issues.
• Ensure complete documentation of EDI maps and business edits.
• Conduct EDI Analysis, maintain documentation and reports for audit purposes.
• Configuration and maintenance of inbound/outbound EDI files in Core System and Data Warehouse.
• Manage the execution of user acceptance testing for healthcare EDI transactions (ANSI X12 837, 835, 834, 999, 277)
• Design, implement, and monitor mission critical batch jobs and interfaces.
• Maintain optimum overall systems performance levels.
• Other duties as assigned by IT Director
• Applies knowledge / expertise to complex problems.

• Must have at least 8 years of experience with Healthcare EDI including 834, 835, and 837 files.
• Must have at least 4 years of experience with MS SQL or other relational database systems.
• 3 years of experience with SSIS, SSRS, XML, XSLT, ETL is a plus.
• Prior experience in Healthcare is required.
• Proven experience with software package vendors.
• Ability to plan and work effectively
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field preferred
• Experience working with FTP Servers, and Transfer Protocols
• Good verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities include, following the guidelines and reporting suspected violations of any statute, regulations, agreements or guidelines applicable to all healthcare programs.

Starting at $95,160/year-$142,625.60/year

The salary of the finalist selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. This pay scale is not a promise of a particular wage.
